You're my heroes. Carrying buckets upstairs will be a thing of my past when ever I upgrade my tank.

FISHROOM FTW!!!

I use a mag18 to move my water upstairs and a python siphon to move it to the drain. NO BUCKETS FOR ME!!!
I hate you. Been battling nitrates getting my levels back in order. Moved about 100 gallons upstairs over the last 2 weeks

I have tanks upstairs and downstairs in my basement garage. So I installed my RO/DI and mixing tank setup upstairs. No more buckets for me.
However, I am about to install a new RO/DI and mixing tank combo downstairs with one of these to move the fresh saltwater from downstairs to upstairs...

Rona set me back on all my tank activities. I have a business I started about a year and a half ago that took a hit. Should be back on track by summer. Already have plans laid out for a 200g in wall with 90 sump basement fish room. Just waiting for the government to make their minds up before luxury spending.

I have a 300 inwall upstairs and 300 stock tank and a 100 stock tank that holds the skimmer and filter sock in the basement in a dedicated fish room brew house so all my messes stay there.

I’m putting my tank in the basement at my new house, but will have a fish room behind it. Plus will still use my AWC system....hahaha

my first SW was in the basement i made a mixing station down there. buckets across the basement. my FW tanks were in the 'dining room' on the ground floor. i did wc for those from the kitchen sink. 5 gal containers of tap water filled and treated with Prime in advance then buckets of siphoned water into the kitchen sink. containers poured into the FW tanks. when the mixing station came into being the rodi is treated upon make up for trace chlorine with Prime, then buckets into the sink and buckets upstairs. the next saltwater tank was in the dining room with the sump downstairs. WC accomplished by salt mixed water pumped from mixing container to sump, tank water from sump siphoned to drain. when the holes to the basement were being drilled i drilled an extra one. this, at some point will be used for either drain or supply from the basement. i just realized while writing this that i need another drilled hole. the one i have will be used as a pvc drain to the deep sink in the basement. to be used for all WC's or gravel siphoning. the new one for delivering rodi to my FW via hose pulled through the hole and across the dining room. Lowe's Trip!!

Im lucky my animal room is 5 steps from the bathrooms and i have system in there to do my water stuff. Now 10 years this room has run manly fresh and reptiles but last year i added a salt and now i have 3 new salt tanks ready to go. Im sure they wont mind being next to lizards and snakes :p

What else do people keep with there tanks?
