So right now I have a 110 gallon reef tank

4 corals, 7 fish - Blue Tang, Red Corris, Clownfish, Mandarin, Firefish, Algae Blenny and Yellow Headed sleeper goby

On Saturday, I may be picking up a 180 +70 gallon sump (Score!)

I do want a predator tank, but I am conflicted. Do I move my 110 and all into the 180 and scratch the predator dreams away or do I make 180 a predator tank and downgrade the 110 into a 40B?

Any input/ideas are greatly appreciated!

What type of predator fish do you want? This will guide you on if the 180 is big enough.

In my opinion not many can go into a 180 predator tank.

If your talking a couple smallish triggers, angel and a small to medium eel, these type of fish, then your good. Need to be very aware of the bio load!!

If your talking emperor angel, porcupine /dogface puffer, large moray, small shark. type of stuff. not going to happen with any reasonable results.

and i like the idea of a fowlr

this is the tank, he has it for 500 i talked him down to 250, for tank +75 gallon tank for the sump..

idk if i should take it; the drilled holes are on the side?
