Is this normal for my toadstool to do this it’s closed up Abit because I did some maintenance I’m not sure it’s a really nice coral and it’s got more colour and bigger since I got it.

Absolutely fine.
Leathers are known for being moody.
They will open and close polyps several times a day without an aparent reason.
There is also an event when they shed. They will look like dead, deflated and closed for days (my last case a full week). Until a day they shed a thin brown substance.
After that they will get a bit larger - in some cases.

This is fantastic advice that covers a lot of what people worry over with toadstool corals. I second that toadstool is A. Beautiful and B. Happy as a clam.

Also as flow changes or when annoyed they can reorient themselves especially when they get bigger. My 20 or so inch toadstool is shockingly malleable for changing its own shape as flow changes.

I'm very new to reefing, but my leather bent completly two times. First time was when i turned off the flow during the night for my RFA to fix its foot. The second time was when 2x big hermits decided to sleep on it. Both times the coral stood up and opended its polyps once the normal conditions were restablished

My toadstool will occasionally double over at the stalk. Seems somewhat normal to me. I've thought of cutting the stalk shorter but not sure it this is the solution
Yeah since I got him it’s stalk has gotten a lot bigger you could barely see it when I first got him
