Hi everyone! About 2 weeks ago I got a toadstool leather frag as a gift. It was a very pretty piece, still is, tho recently instead of being a consistent ball shape it has become more of a crescent shape ? I don’t know if it’s normal or not? Any information will help, thank you!

Looks happy to me. They kinda change shape as they grow, depending on the light, flow and competing coral. I had two from the same mother. One looked like a big mushroom, the other flattened out on the top.

yours has good polyp extension and is not getting brown/black so it seems happy.

It will also grow a foot and a stem, so it won’t be a ball forever.
