Hi there,

so my toadstool developed a hole several months ago and I assumed it was just dropping a baby from what I have read.

well now it has multiple large holes all around the cap to the point where it looks like ring will eventually fall off.

I was planning on fragging it soon but wanted advise from some people who have more experience with them than I do.
Should I just cut the ring all the way around or do you think I’m dealing with another issue?

thanks so much

You can cut it, or you can wait for it to drop. Either way you will have frags soon. Other than the fact your colony will be a little disfigured for a while there shouldn't be anything to worry about.
