That's great. I had freshwater tank first and started with a 12g nano saltwater. It sounds like you've done your homework! Let me know if you have any questions about setting up a nano!

Starting with a small tank makes sense if you're not sure. It's less money for everything. There more difficult to keep stable but you end up learning good habits.
