I got a new pump(3000s) for my older model Reef Octopus Protein Skimmer today and it seems to be working great accept I have a butt ton of micro bubbles coming out of the exhaust tube and making it into the display tank. Any ideas? It wasnt doing this with the other pump. Unfortunately the manufacturer said they dont make the old pump any longer and the 3000s is the replacement.

I would just let it run, the micro bubbles may subside after the pump has broken in and is coated with biofilm.. bubble traps before the return pump section of your sump may help keep bubbles out of DT.
