Interesting to note that I have an existing 40 that I have endlessly talked about and posted pictures about with which I inherited that I only had to get rid of hair alae. Which is now over run with mushrooms and Coraline algae and one extremely happy Clown fish who is a very independent Lady. I have never done a parameter test on it cleaned the sand have no parasites or any other critters. of any sort. Just weekly 10 litre water changes and skimmer maintenance. The only problem was when I decided for no reason to add a HOB refugium with Cheato in it. It collected refuse and because I did not remember started spilling it into the display, and my corals started to disappear.
My second tank That I built from scratch now has five happy fish and Coral . the soft ones are growing too fast like my Tang, and it is full of dozens of bristle worms which my original tank has none PLEASE TELL ME WHY. Not too worried as the bristle worms don't attack my coral, just a mystery. Now I am starting a new tank and hope to avoid it all and have what I call not what I have a beautiful eco tank but a perfect clear tank with Coral that are beyond stunning like I have seen but quite cant achieve. Am I being to focused on trivial things?
