In my opinion, there is no such thing as too many pods! They are a great little cuc. and if you ever wanted a wrasse or a mandarin a tank seeded with pods is always a great idea!

I do like Mandarins, but I am scared Id get one and it would knock out the pod pop and then starve since its a small tank.

If they are pods then no. Put filter pads in there and sell them to your fellow reefers.
