Hey there everyone,

So I have a same frag plug with about Ten Crab Nebula Zoas on it, It seems to be doing well, a few new polyps since i got it about a month ago. I put it in a spots that medium flow and medium light. WHen i get up in the morning and the actinics are on, all the polyps are open and glowing. Later in the day when the brightest foto period is in effect some of them seem to close up. I am not going to turn my light down, I have more acros than zoas, and I don't really want to move these guys because they seem to be growing. Could this be caused by the light being too bright? and if so it is possible they will adjust?

I can list all my parameters and more details on the tank if you all think it will be helpful.

I don't think I have had that happen from light. I suppose it's possible I honestly don't know.
I've had Zoas close because I looked the them wrong yea. :p

It's pretty weird that after this long in the tank they do that. Esp if your getting growth.
Nothing else near them. No cyano diatoms that may gas or secrete at the peak of light?

No to the diatoms; my NO2 is very low, and I have a large fuge that it keeps a lot of algae/diatoms out of my DT.
