Too soon for RBTA?

Tanks been up since August.
Parameters good, stable.
Various corals growing.
Just noticed coralline algae.

Would I be pushing my luck with an rbta?

No James your honest feedback is what I’m looking for. I don’t want to risk losing a coral or worse, it nuking my tank.

RBT are not that sensitive. if you have coraline and things are stable then you should be more than fine.

plus, if they are going to die you will know about it. They dont just die like fish.

I would wait a little longer, keep testing and learning your tanks chemistry and needs. Anemones can be sensitive and there is no need to rush. Kudos to you for asking for advice.

Rbta are pretty hardy ime but I would personally wait until at least the 8 month mark for the tank to stabilize

Everyone thanks for the replies! I think I’ll be patient and get a torch for now. I’ll reevaluate the rbta in a few months.
