Took my Jebao Cross-Flows apart.

I’ve always resisted taking my Jebao Wave Pumps apart, just soaked them in Citric Acid overnight. This time they just didn’t come clean enough, after Soaking. I unplugged from my Power Strip, unscrewed and unplugged the pump connector. Pulled and put the pump in a Dishpan. I used a 3/16” Screwdriver tip to pop the both the end caps off at the tab, at the base. The round part hooks into the pump, don’t pry there. It doesn’t take much effort to get this loose. Removed the Pump from the Magnet Bracket, from the Hook side. Other side is round, and it just slides in there. I looked at how the Pumps Strainer cover was positioned. And pulled one side straight out. With little effort. I only did one side at a time, to not mix up the Fans and Strainers. A Soft Toothbrush was all I needed to clean and a Lab Wash Down Bottle. Reassembled that side. Repeat with other side. The Pump will only go in the Base Bracket one way. Hooked the Round side of the Cleaned End Caps. A sharp tape with the screwdriver handle, snapped the tab in to its catch. Returned the Pump to the Aquarium. Routed and Plugged the Three Prong cable in, Plugged the Power in, pump running like new. Both the SCP-70, and CP-120 are the same for disassembly. Took 30 minutes for each Pump, start to finish.
