Thanks for sharing!
Might get a macro lens next year, i was thinking the 105.
For aquarium photography do you recommend the 200 over the 105?

I haven't used the 105mm. I started with the Nikon 60mm macro, but it required extremely close proximity to get good detail. The 200mm has a minimum working distance of about 10.5" in front of the lens, so that poses a challenge for top-down shots because the Avast XL porthole only extends about 6" from the lens. At that length, corals within 4"-5" of the water surface may not be within focus range of the 200mm lens.

I take most of my shots through the aquarium glass, and for those shots I absolutely LOVE the 200mm. The level of detail is just stunning. Here are a few 100% crops of some shots I've taken. These are untouched photos, straight from the camera with no Photoshop editing:

Amazing the details are way better than what i have for now

Nice shots and great coloration! What camera & lens did you use? Yes, a 105mm or 200mm macro would allow you to get some great detailed shots.

Some very nice shots. I can still see some minimal motion blur and unsharoneas in some so maybe try to stabilize ur camera by leaning ur hand on braces or glass.
