Top trim not completely *Flat*

The top trim of my Planet Aquariums custom 210-gallon tank isn't completely flat. This is causing me to be insecure about what exactly is "level". For example, I can get both "length" sides "level" while one "depth" side is level and the other is un-level. I can physically see how the top trim isn't completely flat when putting a straight edge on it.

I'm within the "rings" on the level. But I want to get it perfect.

The stand is a metal stand from planet aquariums with adjustable feet.

Any suggestions?

Assuming the tank is actually built square, but the top trim just wasn't installed totally flush on the top edges of the side glass, I'd base my leveling off the bottom glass.

IMHO, the easiest way to determine if the tank is level is to first make sure the stand itself is both level and planar. Then, it is a simple matter to add water to the tank and measure from the top of the stand to the water level. If the measurement is the same at all four corners, you are good to go. If not, shim under the stand to make it so.

I never trust the trim when leveling tanks. I always put some neoprene pad under the tanks for cheap assurance to avoid pressure points or bulges in the trim on the bottom. I use a level on the glass itself vertically and compare all four panes until they are plumb or if one pane is off a little average it out. And as mentioned fill it up, slowly, and measure the water level to the bottom pane.
Generally tanks are square enough that if your stand is level the tank will be as well. I've never shimmed a tank on a stand.
