So I have these two small BTA in my 13.5 evo. I think they’re “joker “ variant.

I just added more flow with the hygger mini and my torch has started opening more and more everyday. Awesome.

My little anemone split and now there are two now and one has planted itself in a strange spot.

Do I move it? Let them figure it out? Do I have an anemone that wants to be where the torches are?

The rest of the tank gets plenty of light. I have a prime 16hd. Blues hit 60% whites top at 25%. So I don’t think it’s searching for light.

Parameters are excellent.

Going to do a water change today and if I should move it, I will, but nobody seems to be bothered by this relationship

You could try to move it but nems are nems. They are going to move to wherever they want to.

The torch is retracted so that should tell you all you need to know then.
Well if you saw the torch 2 weeks ago, this is much more open than it had been due to insufficient flow. This picture is probably 5 days old and it’s probably twice as open right now as this picture

What happen between yout torchs and bta? I have the same situation, bta move next to my torch. I am waiting to see if my torchs can stay close to bta. Did you move your bta?

Not the OP, but I do have BTAs that have encroached on torches.

Or, rather, I had BTAs that encroached on torches. Now I just have BTAs, but they're not encroaching on torches anymore.

Because the torches are dead. In case it wasn't obvious.

You’re doing better than me. Tank crashed when I was out of town for 4 days. Lost everything in it.

That sucks. I've had that happen before as well. Do you know what caused the crash?

In my case it was a broken heater, cooked everything in the tank.

THIS!! nems can and definitely WILL kill corals when competing for space. No matter the coral, always either move/remove the nem, or just deal with the consequences . It's unfortunate, but this is how it goes.

I think the auto feeder malfunctioned. I had the entire thing full. Had it drop the smallest amount of pellets it could at a time, which should’ve been like 10-15 pellets.

2 clown fish in the tank.

The entire food supply on the container was in the tank. Just a big cloud in the tank when I got home 4 days later.

easy- remove anemone and sell it to buy another torch
I would just put them on their own rock. If you can do that and keep them happy they are easier to contain.
I'm actually looking for some kind of cool BTA myself.
I have a black widow, rose, rainbow, and a Colorado sunburst.

I think my favorite is the black widow.

Try and find a deal on one. They look menacing

Yeah, I'll have to decide which I want. I may just go for a few of them.
Depends on how my next shipment of fish on friday pans out.
I'd like to order a clown pair if I got anemones. They always seem happier when there are clownfish taking care of them.

Depends on the nem 😂

Me harem tank has 16 clowns and if they touch a few of the nems in , they just shrink up.
