Hello everyone. I have done research but am not really seeing a good answer. One of my torches had a head 100% die and the other side isn’t looking good. Flow is medium on it and the other two torches which don’t touch seem to enjoy and end have branches a new head. Put in about a month ago and first 3 weeks looked great. Trying to save the other head.
Water parameters.
Temp 78.5
Alk-9.5
Mag-1320
Phosphate- .04
Nitrates-12.7
Don’t have a calcium test currently
Sitting in 125 PAR measured by an ITC par meter I bought 4 weeks ago. Made no changes to light intensity.

Have you looked at night time for any kind of pest. How does the flesh beneath the other polyps look on the other torches. I know my torches like the water a little dirty I run a little higher po4 Around .1ish

This is everyone at night. I see really no other signs of pest. I dip everything that goes into the tank and it’s a relatively new tank.

Unfortunately dips don’t keep everything from getting in or I’d have no pests myself. Your parameters look good that’s why I was thinking it could be a pest. Hard to tell from your pictures but do they have much flesh on the skeletons? If not the other torches might be decling as well just not showing it yet.

How old is your tank. I’m constantly looking at the skeleton as it’s the first place it will recede best to catch it early. the polyps cover it most of the time so you might not know till it’s too late. picture attached showing a nice layer of heathy flesh.
