What do you have for filtration in the tank? Is it an AOI? A more powerful return with a random flow nozzle may help them open a bit more. Generally if your parameters are good then I would say check your flow.

I would bring your CA up to 450, dKH 8.6, Mg 1450-1500. With torches, higher mag is generally more beneficial. Do you dose any aminos?

Sorry just read your initial post. I would say upgrading the stock return pump isn't a bad idea. AB+ is a good amino, just don't overdo it as with anything in this hobby. My guess is that it's flow related. Your colors don't look bad so I wouldn't worry too much.

Flow is key in having success with keeping torches.

Wait you don't use the green phosphate and black carbon filter pads right?

Also have you closely inspected the flesh around the base on all of the torches?

Well the alk is waaaay low. Either messed up the test or something terribly wrong. Any available salt nowadays would automatically give you an alk of at least 7.
Guessing 3.1 meq/l = 8.68 dkh
