I have a Nero 3 for my flow and I dose reef energy ab+ I run a phosphate and carbon mixture pad with a uv sterilizerWhat do you have for filtration in the tank? Is it an AOI? A more powerful return with a random flow nozzle may help them open a bit more. Generally if your parameters are good then I would say check your flow.
I would bring your CA up to 450, dKH 8.6, Mg 1450-1500. With torches, higher mag is generally more beneficial. Do you dose any aminos?
Also have 6 brighwell blocks for bioI have a Nero 3 for my flow and I dose reef energy ab+ I run a phosphate and carbon mixture pad with a uv sterilizer
Wait you don't use the green phosphate and black carbon filter pads right?I have a Nero 3 for my flow and I dose reef energy ab+ I run a phosphate and carbon mixture pad with a uv sterilizer
no I’m but sure what its called but my lfs uses them in all their nano tanksWait you don't use the green phosphate and black carbon filter pads right?
Oh okay good, those pads are not suitable IMO lolI have sicce return pump I got it after market I have pretty good flow

YesAlso have you closely inspected the flesh around the base on all of the torches?
Yes. Things like ab+ are helping corals and the rest of the biome thrive.Do you recommend I stop for a while?
How long have you had these torches? A lot of torches die to brown jelly with in a month or 2

Guessing 3.1 meq/l = 8.68 dkhWell the alk is waaaay low. Either messed up the test or something terribly wrong. Any available salt nowadays would automatically give you an alk of at least 7.
I had just assumed dkh.Guessing 3.1 meq/l = 8.68 dkh
