Hey guys so this guy is supposed to be a torch but it’s tentacles are so short. Have you seen this before? Will the tentacles grow?

Actually it’s a picture of a friends that I was thinking of buying. He told be it was an electric green torch but the tentacles seem so short. I’ve seen it twice and both time it looked like this

they arent fully extended. they do this when stressed, such as poorer water quality, or when moved to a new tank, shipped, etc As such, itll likely be fine in the right environment, but don't pay a lot for this.

He was going to give it to me for $30 it’s 3 small heads. Do you think that’s fair?

25-30$ is a fair price, from the looks of it , it looks to be about 2.5" extended about 3.5-4" is this from his tank and aquacultured ? or just store bought and then clipped ?

I recently lost a nice torch and 2 are not opening as much my po4 is low but my nitrates are threw the roof have done 4 water changes and it really did not effect the nitrates have never had a problem with them before
