My new torch is closed up tight. Had it for 4 days, the first 2 days it was fully open. The last 2 days it's been closed up tight. No change in water in a week. No mucus coming from it, no jelly substance. Just closed up, is that normal for 2 days?

IMO it could be just getting use to the new light and water parameters. When I got my torch shiped to me it closed up for about a week then started to slowly come out.

If your parms are good, then make sure you have some good random flow over it.

I've had a small torch frag in my tank for a few months. Would never really open up while my hammer and frogspawn have been growing nicely. Recently I decided to move it around and after a few attempts I think it's starting to show signs of life. It's in a spot with much more flow than ever before. I can't be certain that's the reason but it sure seems that way.
