Torch shrinking

I run zeovit and am having great success with SPS. Water is crystal clear and coral colors are beautiful and growing like weeds. However, the torch coral is just all shrunk up and sad looking. It is not dying as it has stayed the same for 6 months even splitting heads and growing skeleton. The polyps just stay tiny and wont spread out. I'm pretty positive it is the lack of nutrients in the tank but wanted some confirmation. Any one running low nutrient system with undetectable (with available test kits) PO4 and NO3 having success with Euphyllia. I feed heavily but have a small fish population. It is growing but slow going with quarantine process. Thanks for any feedback.

Do you actually feed that coral? Try giving chunks.
How is your flow? Certain LPS don't do so well with strong flow that SPS can tolerate. Try putting it in a deal spot so to speak.

I feed reef chili and coral vital but not chunks of anything directly. It is placed in a lower corner with shelter from direct flow and the polyps aren't blowing around too rough. Plus I run more gentle programs throughout the day to give them a break. Thanks for the reply. May try feeding directly.
