I know there's a thousand questions. It only takes one thing to cause issues. Hows the water flow?

Also, less light would cause more issues. They can do well above 75 par.
Yeah, basically impossible to pinpoint.
But I assume my par is higher now but ill see if can get my hands on a meter and the flow is not much.
I have alot of Euphyllia and they dont like flow, so I keep it pretty low. There is enough to keep detritus off and sometimes I crank it up to 100% for 10 minutes for detritus removal and nutrient export, Probably once a day.

Some are picky. I have one that is very sensitive to flow. My newest came in very sensitive to light. I had to do a 10 day light acclimation. Two of mine are pigs, I haven’t seen the other eat in a couple years.
Flow issues usually just cause them to not open. My quess would be light or Alk.
That's what I'm finding out about them. I have 3 and the other 2 are totally happy and this one just hates the exact environment that the other 2 are thriving in lol

what jumps out at me is the low par of 50, I don't think anything can thrive at 50 par. You say you raised it 10%, that only brings it to 55 par. To me is very low.

Its weird but my other trachys, favias, and like 8 torches around the same par are thriving.

Blastomussa, micromussa, i guess most mussa thrive in lower par.

I'm not sure if a dip will help the situation. I had a heater malfunction that caused a red trachy I had to bleach, I put half of it in a shaded area. It regained its color after a month or so.

This situation is different.

Don’t did it. This does not look like an infection. Most likely an abrubt change in something it doesn’t like. Likely the par. I find these di best around 90-100 par. This one will sliwly afjust. It may take 6-12 months to regain full color. I had one go trsnslucent and now is brighter than ever. Maintain stability and leave it alone.

That’s the approach I’ll take. Thanks!!
