Hi Guys,

Just into my 2nd week of my cycle using Red Sea Mature kit and I'm just wondering what the transparent whitish slime is that has developed during my cycle, its almost jelly like? Now am sure its some type of bacterial bloom but im just curious what actually causes it? The geek in me would like to know

Cycle details,

0 ammonia
1 ppm Nitrites
+30ppm Nitrate
PH 8.2
