So, I have some left over, unfinished travertine tile, and I was thinking about using it to grow out some frags. What do you think? Reef safe or not? Do you know?

Let it soak for two days in RODI water and than ready for frags.
I use the HD porcelain tiles and always ask for the mats 12x12 with missing tiles, some times there are only one or two missing and I'll buy them for $1

Well, I didn't soak for 2 days, but I soaked 1 hour rinsed, and repeated, for a total of 2 hours. I'll keep you posted on hot it goes. So far so good.

You should be fine,
I soak it for two days to be sure all residues are off like Dust and Oils as you never know.

I use travertine mosaic tile and also used porcelain mosaic tile. I would just put them in the sump until I was ready to use it.

I kind of want to do a ceramic skeletal hand if anyone knows a guy [emoji6]

Could you imagine it encrusted with ANYTHING!?! I'd call the tank "creature from the black lagoon"!!

Is the glue on the mosaic tiles ( that bonds the tile to the net) safe?
