Sounds like a slow and steady roll out plan to help mitigate any issues that arise at deployment is what I assume.

We’ve waited long enough for the “issues” to be worked out. I’m sure Neptune is just as anxious to reap some profits as we are to give them our money.

You are more than welcome to keep your money as this isn’t mandatory to have. How long is long enough for issues to be worked out?

I believe Neptune is taking the time and doing their due diligence to get it right the first time with the trident, so that there won’t be so many issues. Personally, I have mostly gotten quality products from them and I’m sure the trident will be quality and quantity. And for me YES this is MANDATORY

Have you been paying attention?

Yes. Granted, it's a tough post to understand.

I guess I didn't get the impression from Terence's photo that the release day units were all manufactured. Sure hope there's more than that. Didn't appear packaged for that matter. Anyway, it made me wonder if you had some additional information.

Last, I didn't understand this part "..if not everyone will possibly get a unit on release..."

The bad thing about manufacturing in China is having to wait for them all to be shipped over here. So even if they are ready with a final product they have to be built to spec, QC’d, and then shipped all the way here. Sea freight can take 3 weeks or so

Just saying in general we have seen pictures of them packaged, know for release or not is unknown but there is a final product. Put them out as they get them. Hope there is more units then that as well. But if that’s what they got release it.

Just a opinion but wouldnt you think the big online retailers would post preorder close to the release date?
Lets say brs put out the trident is here today order now it would be like best buy on black friday massive orders coming in all at once.
I would think that would be a nightmare for them.as if neptune told them you will receive the product on this date to sell.
They could plan a preorder and make life so much simpler for everyone.
Just a thought

Quantities will be most likely so low per distributor that preordering will be worthless. Remember they have to spread the initial release over 50-100 reseller accounts. So it only leaves a few units per store. Makes it fair also for the little guys too.

Amazon gets me Chinese packages in 5 days, just a heads up Neptune.

I’m curious what the demand will be between a bunch of people already having the trident through nsi and the other competitive products. I’ve held out for the trident but I know quite a few have gone other directions.

It would be nice if they limited the order to 1/person at the beginning so the big retailers don’t buy them all up right away for their systems.

I’m worried about people flipping them for a lot more on eBay or online. It’s gonna happen.
