Sourcing things in a timely manner from futian, etc in 2018/19 is not exactly earth shattering in difficulty, and is probably the last area of impacting the timely release and availability of zee trident.

Nobody is trying to be a expert...just discussing possible scenarios......the reason reef2reef is hear to discuss all things in the hobby
If you agree or not someone should be allowed to ask questions or discuss their opinion with out attitudes
That would be great would make for a great birthday for meGuess the release date as May 5th. Make it a party for a couple reasons! Margaritas and Trident release. Seems like a good day to me.
I am not one to rant so I wont. However, I think what is the issue with everyone including myself is not knowing the release date. I understand Neptune is taking their time with the Trident and I 100% understand and appreciate them for that. I own a lot of Neptune gear and I love the reliable and top notch performance from them.
However what worries me is that we are no where close to seeing this hit the market otherwise we would have a release date by now. I think there is a worry that if we find out it isnt coming out until next year, etc then we will ditch the Trident and go to other systems from other competitors.
Again, I am 100% behind the Trident and have the money(hopefully enough) set aside to purchase one. I would just like to know how long to hold this money for. I dont need an exact date. Heck I would be happy with a quarter projection.
Also.....we are 15 posts away from 2000. Just saying... :-)
I'm just bringing up another scenario to add to the discussion... one where everyone here, myself included, has no clue what it has taken or will take for the Trident to launch.
It's one thing to bring something up once. It's another thing when people get angry, rant, and rave over something they should realize they have nowhere near enough information to even get mad. This post has been mostly beating the same dead horses over and over and over again. I would say that maybe we should stop beating the dead horses, but I know that won't happen. It's just what people do, for whatever reason. I grow wary, but also know it is to be expected.

When I say competitors I am referring to automated testing. We all know who the other automated testing companies are and I am not going to name them for the sake of this thread. Apex is it's own unique system as it works directly with its own proprietary software. I get that, I like it, I own it and that is why I am all in for the Trident. What are the competitors to the trident?

Just wish I knew when to start expecting to see it on the shelf.
