BRS says no. They said the filter sock chamber is too small to fit a reefmat. I cant find dimensions anywhere for that chamber thoughYes, the ReefMat 1200 can likely be used in place of a Red Sea custom filter roller, and it's possible to mount it sideways. Red Sea states that both the drive unit and inlet hose can be positioned on either side of the ReefMat, making it flexible for various sump setups. You can also use the included mounting legs to place it anywhere in the sump with available space.
To determine if it will fit in your specific sump, you'll need to measure the dimensions of the roller chamber and the ReefMat 1200. The ReefMat 1200 has dimensions of 10.6" x 11.8" x 18.9".

I have the same sump. Would the reef mat sit entirely in the entry chamber or would it rise above providing a little bit more room to fit?BRS says no. They said the filter sock chamber is too small to fit a reefmat. I cant find dimensions anywhere for that chamber though
