Yeah, that stinks. My issue was resolved. It was some sort of BS, but I don’t know the scam. In either case, my CC was never actually charged.
BRS told me Trigger had a warehouse fire at some point recently. So maybe they lost stock? BRS had no other explanation for why it has been out of stock for 8+ months (as well as being on sale at BRS despite no stock).
I have never dealt with Aquarium Speciality before. A red flag should have gone up about why they had it in stock when none of the others did. And oh yes, they charged my card. I have gotten spoiled dealing with good companies all the time, so I guess I let my guard down. Since I am ******** about that one store, I will brag on another. I ordered something from CoralView during one of their sales. When I was checking out, I didn't have a chance to enter the discount code. I emailed customer service about the issue. The first thing the next morning, I got an email saying they were sorry that happened and that the balance had been refunded.
