Hey guys,

this is a quick question but couldn’t find a easy answer.
After resealing my tank the bottom pane has a lot of excess silicone. Is it safe if I cut off the excess to about half an inch of bead? Or would that jeopardize the integrity? My tank is 120gallon and I put excess silicone on purpose and didn’t use tape on the bottom pane. Also if I trim to half an inch it’ll be a pretty thick bead at the end of the silicone.
