I just came across and noticed that WWC trims there sweeper tentacle on there pectina , I was wondering if any of you have done the same on your Chalice, Pectina or anything similar

Never heard of this

I did purchase a space invader from them and was wondering why it didn’t have super larger sweeper so this could explain why

Sounds like a really good way to infect a coral with BJD

Trimming sweeper tenticles sounds not only unnecessary, but harmful to the coral. I would never consider doing that... Even if WWC does it. Sounds lazy in repositioning when it's negatively affecting surrounding coral. Hard pass on that.

I would think they would just grow back anyways....not sure what the point is other than possibly damaging the coral.
