Will Triton Detox help remove excessive levels of Zinc as my Triton test came back with dangerously high levels of Zinc 14.ug/l? I can't find any specifically mentioning removal of zinc? Apart from large water changes anything else that might reduce/remove it? Thanks.

I asked Triton this...

Please could you tell me if Triton’s Detox product will remove zinc from the aquarium? I checked the product’s PDF but it seems to be saying it is mainly for copper and lead.

Many thanks

Andy

Yes Detox is only really suitable for Copper and Lead, it will remove small amounts of other metals but not guaranteed.
The best thing to do is find and remove the source and water change it out.

Best Regards
