Triton myte subscription

I agree with most comments here, but in my opinion, providing the trace mixed monthly regimen based on an ICP is a simplified process, for me. In Full transparency, I started using it 2 months ago. It's super simple

Could anyone do this on their own? Yes

Could you do it cheaper? Yes (i.e., mixing with other methods)

Is it an easy maintenance program for trace elements? Yes.

Is it a higher cost than other methods? Yes

Is it worth it? That's relative to the individual and their specific needs, time, and desired results.

I still do water changes, as imo are the best management program for long-term sustainability, but, this program fills a gap for me. Just my. 02 😉

This seems like an awesome subscription. I pay $80 a month. I get two bottles that I can set up on an auto doser and just sit back and relax knowing my trace elements are good to go

I’m considering getting the new triton subscription for my 100 gal, does it come with literally everything and how often will I have to test outside the icp, do I have to dose or test anything else or do any water changes or anything??? And am I supposed to run a skimmer or not
It does not come with everything, you still have to dose for CALC, Mag, ALK. I use their core7 stuff or whatever its called for that.

After a while you can likely test less for N and P and Alk, once things are stabilized.

I have been using it for 5 months, really no change at all.

Do they also calculate the consumption rate, or just how much to dose to reach the target value within four weeks? I mean, if you calculate how much to dose to reach the reference value within four weeks, and then you do a new icp after those 4 weeks, then the diff of ref val minus measured will be the consumption during those four weeks. So, will the next bottle of traces be adapted to the consumption rate or again just to the target value minus icp value?
