Hi,
For the past several weeks, I’ve had a breeding frenzy of trochus (I believe) snails. In my 55 gallon I tried to count at night when they are on the glass, but lose count around 75 or so. That doesn’t include the sump.
I’ve had to make dyi inlet covers for skimmers etc, but other than clogging inlets, any other issues I should be aware of? The only other thing that bothers me is that my white sand isn’t white at all anymore due to all of these.
I’m told that this is a good problem to have and must mean water quality must be quite ok, but any other input would be appreciated! These photos are only showing a fraction of the population btw from one corner with lights on.
