Anyone currently successfully running a real closed loop CO2 scrubber off their skimmer? Mine's having random overflow issues from time to time. Runs great for a half day then I come back and the skimmer is waterfull with no gas circulation or bubbles.

Is it not feasible to close off all gas ingress into the skimmer and circulate only the scrubbed air?

What I see of all the videos, BRS etc. is it's not really closed loop but limited additional room air recirculation. Open holes in the skimmer lid or using the overflow exit to an external reservoir isn't closed loop as it sucks room air in through those openings.

Anyone?
