From what I have seen that is about normal for the Tyrees version? I need to know how to tell if it is Tyree or not?

doesn't look like the tyree IMO.......but rather just another random watemelon morph

theres probably a dozen or more types of watermelon chalices out there now, they are becoming much more common and easier to get ahold of.

so i wouldnt say there is 1 true watermelon anymore.

I think its crazy how much this coral is going for lately!! I've seen 1/2" frags of this coral go for $300+ on ebay in the last few months. It'll take so long for that to grow out any size.

But that's they way she goes.... lol

Nah, but I don't need it. I'm very happy with my 4 beauties. If find a watermelon colony in the future I will def sell the frags for cheaper than that. ;]

Like my cespitularia, its growing on my frag plugs now and I don't plan to sell 1/4 inch frags for $100 . I mean jeez. ;p
