No he's not supposed to look like that...what are your exact parameters? Lighting? And how old is the tank?

You say your parameters are good but you fail to list what your calcium and alkalinity are at. That’s the problem!! Buy the CA and ALK test kits and do some research on the necessities needed to maintain that animal. Plus your salinity needs to be higher.

Hi
I havent test for calcium, alk, mag this week but last week they were fine, cal-400-450/alk-7-9/mag about 1350/i do a water change every week around 18% red seacoral pro which seems to keep cal- alk-mag at levels above. I have a doser but have not used yet with aquaforest 1-2-3

I would say he is lacking colour and it doesn't surprise me. Nems can be stressed in transport and not really having an ideal habitat in your local reef stores, but if he feeds that's a good sign.

Has he settled anywhere yet and what are you feeding and how frequently?

I would also say to aim for 1.025-1.026S Salinity as well.

It looks like you bought a bad Anemone. This kind of decline doesn’t usually happen during a week.

Was like this when he arrived. The uk is bad news theres a lot of jerks around selling livestock that is not up to scratch, i bought through ebay so my bad, if it had been a physical store, well lets say things would have been a lot differant. So i must at least try to make good out off a less than perfect situation, if not just for the poor nem

It sounds like your throwing out a good effort. You have a good light source, parameters within reasonable levels, and your feeding it. I wish you the best of luck!

All looks well , I'd raise the SG a little to 1.025_1.026 but other corals look good. Hopefully hell perk up.

I supposed to be in Ashford tomorrow :)

Anyway, I believe your nem can recover, just keep feeding and make sure he has good light and fingers crossed he works out for you.

Good luck.
