I’ve been told by some they’re pods & some say they’re hydroids. Can anyone help confirm what they are & if they’re good or bad. Should I be worried & do I need to get rid of them? If so, how?

Sorry the photo isn’t the best, but it was the best I could do. They’re all over my tank glass.

They look kind of like pods to me but there’s an awful lot of them. Did you dose pods? How old is your tank? IME pods are usually in the dark cave areas and not on the glass very much

I was told they were pods, so someone told me to use some water from my tank that had them initially & add it to my other tank so they would develop in there as well. They’re no longer blown up in my other tank but they’re all over in here now. I see them less frequently in my other tank that has a lot of coral & clam which is what I believe has helped minimize them. The tank they’re in now doesn’t have much at all for coral yet but I do have two wrasses in there.

Pods sorta look like white ants. Is that what you see in person?

Seem rather large for copepods or maybe it's just a weird angle. Do amphipods gather on the glass like that when you have a ton of them?
