Small updated picture of our mother
32421263367_770284d826_b.jpg

This piece isn't the easiest to color up, in fact, we had it for years before it did anything for us but we are so incredibly happy that we kept it.
Upon cutting, the color at the base of the polyp will sometimes fade over a week to two week time frame. Sometimes it doesn't do this and we have yet to figure out what makes this happen(tried more flow, less flow, more light, less light etc after cutting). Almost as if the coral needs to age and settle before it does any coloring up. Its definitely a coral that requires a bit of patience but in a year when everyone has mini colonies, I think you all will be very happy with it.
Some of you guys are getting some awesome pinks/ purples on yours and I'm super excited to see your pieces surpass our colony when it comes to color.... for now :)

We will be chunking this up to move into our new farm soon so we will be very limited in stock for a while

Right now my starscream is low(PAR around 150) but going to move it up shortly. Excellent polyp extension but not much coloring yet. I always take things slow on new sps so I’m sure not high enough PAR is mostly my issue. Plan is to move it into 300 PAR tmrw and watch it closely. Excited to see any differences with the higher PAR.

Thnx for the photos. I want to buy, but TSA sells the SMALLEST nubs, it's so annoying. You can count the polyps on one hand

I remember getting mine during one of the live sales and it wasn't small compared to what you get nowordays from an online vendor.

It's not CB small if that's what you're getting at.

It's one of my acros that everyone asks about right away when they see pictures of my frag rack.
