Ok, so I am thinking of getting a purple tube anemone from my LFS. First off, how hardy are they? Secondly, do they eat fish? I have a 75, with about 4 fish in there, one being a 2" queen angel. I dont want to come home to it being eaten. Also have a pair of mating clowns. So are they hardy, do they eat fish, and how much are they? He wants $54 for it. Any help is good.
Thanks,
Bill

The price seems fine my LFS in Utah has one for $40. As far as eating fish............OH YEAH they eat fish and that is the reason my LFS has one as it was traded in after eating an expensive designer clownfish.
They are neat though let's see who else chimes in and see if I am correct.

I did a little reading on the web, and many people commented that they dont eat fish, but can if the fish gets caught. I also read they are nocturnal, but can give off bioluminescence. I hope someone with experience can comment.
