I have 2 fairly large tube anemones...no idea what species or anything...too bad i cant post pics...anyways...

They seem to be thriving.... But they refuse to eat shrimp or squid..any ideas on what i should feed them? Should i move them to my 30 gallon tank once its set up? Im really trying to sell them but cant find anyone with the same interest in them as i do.... They are beautiful creatures...mine are dark purplish reddish with clear tenticles with white stripes through out the tenticles with a soft pink mouth... Am i the only one with them??

O man...i just went to look at my tube anemones since i posted about them...and i noticed one was missing....i kept looking and found that it hid itself behind my live rock almost under the filter..but its acting funny...its out of its tube...but its tenticles arnt sprawled out or waving..more like laying limp with light movement...funny flow?? Or is it sick?? It just started doing this...i poked it to see if it was dead..it retracted back into its tube but came back out acting just as lathargic ad before

Hi friend! I plan on having one of these fellas soon. I want an orange to start. They look pink. I want one because it stays where you put it, unlike their relatives. I've read a lot about them but have never kept one. These are ceriantharians. They are very unique and have their own subclass. The tube needs to be buried. It's easiest to make a trench as deep as you can go. Most don't have DSB deep enough to plant these vertically. Lay the tube into the trench. Keep the tube covered.

The food your feeding might be too big. Probably needs to be a certain size. Do a spot feed of the right size food is my guess.
