Tube on hammer coral

Hello, today I noticed a little tube coming out of my hammer and I was wondering if my hammer was budding or this is a little pest. The images don’t show it well but the tube is short, thin, and comes out of a little bump. Any help would be appreciated!

Kind of hard to see but looks like a vermetid snail, which can be a pest. If you want it gone you can crush the tube or super glue over it.
