LOL....I had to come up with something to help me use a descriptive word when I saved my pics.

So I have these tiny "tubes" most are about 1/4-3/8 of an inch (or 6-9mm) on some of my rock. I've been watching them for about a week and I haven't seen any discernible changes to speak of...yet. I'd like to know what they are and if I need to be proactive removing them.

There's this other weird thing in a tiny, shallow hole of one of my rocks. It doesn't appear to have gotten any bigger over the last 7-10 days but I did notice that the "fringe" looks kind of like eyelashes (top & bottom lashes of a cartoon character maybe, LOL) they're red fringes and it comes out of a teeny, tiny white something. It's next to impossible for me to get a clear picture, so I apologize. If absolutely necessary I'll get my digital camera out. But I thought I'd give this a try first.
