Tunze 3155 ATO start up

I have a Tunze 3155 ATO that runs for 25 seconds every time it turns back on, regardless of the water level. Is that normal?

It seems really excessive and in combination with my Avast k1 kalk stirrer, it's dumping too much RO water into the tank on a daily basis. I turn the return pump and ATO off/on when feeding twice a day and also every other night when adding Acropower (which flows around in the display only for 10 mins after dosing before the return pump/skimmer/ATO all comes back on).

All that to ask, when you turn your 3155 off/on, how long is it supposed to run if the water level is correct?

Why are you turning your ATO off with the return pump? When the return pumps turns off your chamber will fill, so you won’t have to worry about the ATO running, just the annoying beep of the water high sensor.

Yes its normal. Priming the line.

I know what you mean. I have the return pump controllable so I can turn it down and I can turn off the powerheads via mobius, so fortunately I have automated the issue away.

You can also open up the Tunze controller and turn off the alarm.
