Tunze 9004 Skimmer

Upgraded from a IM Nuvo 40 AIO, and no longer need the skimmer. Very good shape, cleaned in vinegar every 2 months. I got excellent skimmate for a small skimmer, with very few microbubbles escaping. Comes complete with magnets, but no box. Asking $75 shipped.

The nuvo 40 has the same/similar chamber dimensions as the 30L doesn't it? I'm looking for a skimmer upgrade for my 30L. The price includes shipping and paypal fees?

I think so.... the filter socks and media racks are the same size for both the IM30 and IM40 so I think the space is the same. Yes, price includes shipping and fees.

Did you use the skimmer in one of the outer chambers (overflow chambers) or the inner chambers?

If it fits the inner chamber then it should fit mine. The 30l has a 4" wide inner chamber and the 40 has a 3.9" inner chamber. Both are 3.7" deep and around 12.5" tall...

So if you ran it in your inner chamber it would fit mine. I have media baskets for my outer chambers so if you were running the skimmer in your outer chamber it would technically work (because both tanks have identical outer chambers) but I am looking for a skimmer for the inner chamber.

According to dimensions on BRS the tunze 9004 is 4.3 x 3.5 x 12... The chamber size on my 30L is 4 x 3.7 x 13 [emoji17] so it won't fit. Bummer.

That is correct. It does not fit the inner chamber, but does fit both systems on the out chamber. Thanks!!!!
