Tunze 9410 DOC Skimmer

So I installed my newly acquired skimmer last night and it's doing this:

I was wondering if this is normal break in behavior.

Have you tried adjusting that blue knob on the air line? That and the depth of the skimmer are the only way to make adjustments to that skimmer. Looks like you have the depth about right.

It's actually almost closed because if I open it, starts overflowing in the cup.

I got home and it has come down a bit so hopefully within a couple of days it will improve.
