I just purchased a Tunze nano ATO from BRS and it won't switch on by itself. I'll hear the water level being too low and have to reset the power on the unit and it'll fill it right up. Any ideas?

Welcome to my world!! Mine would not work for the first 3 days I had it, tried everything. Then, it miraculously started working. Ran flawlessly for 2 months, then out of the blue, it's not coming on again, have cleaned it, repositioned, etc. only way it comes on is to turn power off then on. I'm on my 3rd day of it acting this way so maybe......it'll start working properly again, otherwise it's going to have a meeting with a hammer.

I have 3 of these, on 3 different tanks. The regular tunze worked fine but the pump went out in a couple months. These two nanos have been problems. I thought these were some of the best.

That happened once to me with the nano - I unplugged it and plugged it in and it's run fine since. Kind of disconcerting to see it seems to be a common and recurring problem. Years ago I ran the regular tunze on a larger system, and it worked fine but the pumps were almost disposable - I had to make sure I always had a replacement on hand.
