Tunze Care - quick question

My tank glass is 10mm. I accidentally ordered the Tunze algae scraper rated for 15mm glass. Should I exchange for the one rated 10-15mm?

Edit: the one I have is rated for 15-20mm glass, my tank is 10mm. Is this a problem? Will the magnet be too strong and therefore unsafe in some way?

I can't imagine it would be unsafe but it may be pretty hard to move around the tank. I use the long on a tank with 1/2” glass and it works well. You must have the strong for up to 3/4" glass. I would probably return it. I used a magnetic scraper once that was too strong and it wasn't fun. I would have to take breaks because my arm would cramp.

I ordered the right one for my tank (12 mm) and this thing can really scratch it ! I don’t even use it anymore. So yes, I would be afraid to use it if I were you.
