I’m considering a tunze chaeto reactor but I’m wondering:
Can I remove the blackout film around the reactor to add more lights and remove more nutrients.
I plan on adding some sun corals and feed heavy.

thanks!

Keep it in place- it is there to keep the light in the reactor and to avoid light spill. I ran the same one on a previous setup before making room for a refugium- and you don't need more light than what it comes with :) It is a good device, there are plenty out there now based on the same idea though, so you can shop around and find one that matches what you're after.

I know this may seem like a stupid question, but could you grow pods In there? I'm assuming the flows too much for them so Definitely not? Or could?

Set it and forget it: Do you change your aquascape as your corals grow?
