Hey anyone adapted this pump to any of their protein skimmers
Which pump compares to this pump??

9410 is the smaller of the two pumps drawing approx 600lph of air,the 9420 is the bigger brother and pulls approx 900lph of air.

Which would one of these would be best for a protein skimmer build for a 350g total or would either of these pumps be sufficient or what pumps would perform better any recommendations ???

I would go for an Askoll pump on that much water volume myself.

I would if my supplier stocked them !! Just checked out the I-tech pumps I want it but don't have $325 bones to spend anybody know any ratings of the bubble blaster pumps?

I would go for an Askoll pump on that much water volume myself.

i agree with this statement,the hydrofoamers are very nice pumps but niether of them used as a single pump on a skimmer will work for your tank volume.a laguna based pump is better suited to your system.

Well what would I be looking at spending on one I think I'm going to split off a couple of my grow out tanks from main system so we're only looking at closer to 210g

if your just buying a laguna based modified skimmer pump expect to pay $300 and up for the pump.if you need a whole skimmer do a little research on skimmers with laguna motors,prices range from $500 and up.there are alot of really nice skimmers on the market using laguna motors to choose from.here is a great thread to ask for advice on. https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/lighting-hardware-diy-discussion/25416-skimmer-q-thread.html
