I bought a used one off here...it doesnt have the magnet..can i by the magnet to make it work? Is it compatible?

you mean the magnet to hold the water sensor in place? I bought mine long before the magnetic mounts were available. I just glued the plastic rail to an old mag float scraper I had laying around

Yah but they sell the new mags..just wondering if it will work for old units
